Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota has recently seen a large increase in the number of Federated employees becoming Bigs. And they consistently make great Bigs!

Federated Insurance hosts Big for a Day events and Information Sessions every year for their employees to learn about and experience Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Federated Insurance donates $1000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota for each new Federated Employee Big.

The Federated Challenge and its sponsors have contributed to Big Brothers Big Sisters since 2004 and have been instrumental in the growth of the organization.

The Federated Challenge Scholarship offers up to $5000 to qualified Little Brothers, Little Sisters, and High School Bigs who are enrolled in a non-4-year prorgam.

In 2018, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota awarded more than $33,000 to 9 students through the Federated Challenge Scholarship.
